I enjoy having the ability to build relationships with individuals and business in the community and provide them with a superior banking experience.

Question: What is the advantage of using F&M’s commercial lending services versus another local community bank?

The lending staff at F&M can work with commercial customers to provide quick decision making, and time matters when you’re a small business owner. We’re not just bankers, but knowledgeable professionals that can offer sound advice to a variety of industries. After all, we’ve been helping business grow in the Valley since 1908.

Let’s Get to Know You:

Question: Where are you from, and what’s brought you to where you live/work now?

Question: What do you like best about the local community you serve?

The people make the community and being able to have personal relationships with those individuals is what I enjoy most.

Question: What are your hobbies and/or where do you volunteer?

In my free time, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my wife and our dogs. I also enjoy volunteering through F&M Bank on various projects.

Question: How long have you been working in the commercial real estate and lending industry?

For the first four years of my banking career, I worked as a credit analyst. In 2016, I transitioned into a commercial lending role. I believe my background in credit is a solid foundation for my career in lending.

Question: On a local level, what should business owners and entrepreneurs know about your market?

Banking in the Valley is extremely competitive, from local community banks to regional and national banks. What separates F&M from our competitors is the exceptional customer service that includes local decision making, quick response time, and industry experienced lenders.

Question: What economic trends are you watching or anticipating in the year ahead related to commercial lending?

With 2020 being an election year, I anticipate the current administration will encourage the Federal Reserve to continue to keep interest rates at historic lows to promote a growing economy. The current federal administration has helped local business owners and larger corporations to have a lessened tax burden which seems to be helping stimulate the local and national economy. I would anticipate low interest rates and conservative taxes to fuel economic growth in 2020.
