Crossroads Café, a local restaurant, catering company, and meal prep service opened its doors in Penn Laird, VA in October 2019, just before COVID-19 wreaked havoc on the restaurant and hospitality industries. Despite uncertainty, café owners Nicole and Heath Bennington have remained dedicated to a business that developed from a love of nourishing family and friends.
The Bennington-Horton family has called the Shenandoah Valley home for several decades. While raising five children in the Harrisonburg area, the couple’s restaurant management experience and passion for providing a “home away from home” formed into the café residents know and love today.
