Deposit Checks from Anywhere

Skip the trip to the branch. With Mobile Deposit, you can securely deposit checks using your phone. Getting started takes just a few minutes.

How to Mobile Deposit a Check
  1. Log in to the F&M mobile app
  2. Select Mobile Deposit
  3. Choose Deposit Check
  4. Enter the check amount
  5. Select the account for deposit
  6. Take photos of the front and back of your endorsed check
  7. Review and submit

Before you start:

  • Endorse the check and write “For Mobile Deposit Only at F&M Bank”
  • Make sure images are clear and well-lit

After you submit:

  • You’ll receive confirmation your deposit was received
  • Deposits are typically processed within 1–2 business days
  • Keep your check for several days, then securely destroy it

Two Ways to Enroll in Online Banking

Enroll on Your Computer
Visit: accounts.fmbankva.com/enroll and enter your:

  • Social Security Number (SSN)
  • Account or loan number
  • Email address
  • Phone number

Select Next and follow the prompts to complete setup

Enroll on Your Phone
Scan the QR code to download the F&M Mobile Banking app and select Enroll or Download the app from the App Store or Google Play by searching: “F&M Mobile – VA”. Once downloaded, open the app and select Enroll. 

Next, enter your:

  • Social Security Number (SSN)
  • Account or loan number
  • Email address
  • Phone number

Select Next and follow the prompts to complete setup.
