Bobby Williams
Commercial Ag Lender
Bobby Williams, Lead Agricultural Lender at F&M Bank, has dedicated over 12 years to serving farmers and agribusiness owners across Rockingham County and the Shenandoah Valley. With deep roots in agriculture, Bobby understands firsthand the challenges and opportunities that come with managing a farm.
Raised on 14 acres in Washington County, Pennsylvania, Bobby was active in 4-H and grew up raising hogs, chickens, turkeys, cattle, rabbits, sheep, goats, and horses. While he initially set out to become a veterinarian, his career path shifted after earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture from Virginia Tech. He went on to work as a fieldman for a poultry integrator for eight years before transitioning into agricultural lending – a role that allows him to combine his love of numbers with his ability to connect with people in the farming community.
For more than a decade, Bobby has helped producers secure financing for farm operations, equipment, livestock, crops, and land. His philosophy is simple: be there for his clients. Whether itโs a banking question or something beyond, Bobby encourages farmers to call him day or night, knowing heโll work to get them an answer.
Outside of the office, Bobby is a devoted husband and father. He is actively involved in community organizations, including Montezuma Ruritans, Bridgewater Little League, and Herd Softball, where he supports youth and family-centered initiatives.
