You can load more than one F&M Bank credit and/or debit card into Apple Pay (e.g. if you have both personal and commercial accounts with F&M, you can load each card separately).

How Do I Verify My Card?
You may be asked to provide additional verification when adding your F&M Bank card to Apple Pay. This isn't required in all cases, and if additional verification is necessary, Passbook will tell you how to verify your card. Once your information is verified, you should receive a Passbook notification that F&M Bank card is ready for use. If it's been more than an hour and you haven't received a notification, please contact us at 540-896-8941.

Is Apple Pay Free to Use with My F&M Bank Card?

Yes, Apple Pay is free to use;  however, data charges by your mobile phone/device provider may apply.

Is Apple Pay secure?

Yes. When you add a credit or debit card, Apple Pay assigns, encrypts, and securely stores a unique Device Account Number in the Secure Element, a dedicated chip in iPhone®, iPad®, and Apple Watch. When you pay via Apple Pay, your credit or debit card numbers are not seen by the merchant or transmitted with payment - the Device Account Number and a transaction-specific dynamic security code are used to process the payment instead.

What if my F&M Bank credit or debit card is lost or stolen?

During regular banking hours, call any branch of our bank, or the Operations area in Timberville: (540) 896-8941. After regular banking hours, call the Hot Card Center toll free at 1-866-546-8273. You should also remove the lost or stolen card from Passbook using the "Remove Card" option. Upon receipt of your replacement card, you will need to add that card to Apple Pay before you can make Apple Pay purchases using the card.

What if my Apple device is lost or stolen?

Use Find My iPhone to put your device in Lost Mode, or you can choose to completely clear your device.
