Business Certificates of Deposit
As a business, you need flexibility when investing your funds. Farmers & Merchants Bank offers a term selection on our Commercial Certificates of Deposit from 6 to 60 months. Our low minimum opening deposit requirement of $1,000 means you can invest a little or a lot.
Features:
- Interest can be compounded back into the CD balance or paid Monthly, Quarterly, or at Maturity
- Interest may be directly deposited into a separate Farmers & Merchants account or paid by check quarterly (if CD balance is $5,000 or more).
- Interest rate is fixed for the term of the CD.
- Automatically renewable after 10 day grace period
- Maturity notice mailed 10 days prior to maturity
Penalties:
Early withdrawal will result in forfeiture of three month’s interest on certificates with maturities up to 60 months, and six month’s interest on certificates with 60 month maturity. Minimum penalty is $10.00.
Jumbo Certificates of Deposit are available at certain times on amounts of $100,000 and Greater – just contact us or call one of our branches for details!!
